The M530P receiver card has a 6 way screw terminal connector block. It is supplied in a soft clear antistatic plastic protective case. The two transistor outputs enable the control of 2 functions, e.g. separate on & off; vehicle and pedestrian gate access; or door and light control. Test buttons and LEDs simplify installation and provide visual receiver status indication. The wide receiver input voltage range makes this a versatile product suited to controlling a variety of applications. If suitable power can not be drawn from the control PCB, an external power pack can be used. A wire antenna is soldered directly onto the receiver. This is satisfactory in most installations.

It can learn up to 20 Merlin transmitters with green button M842 and M844 .
